About the Department : It started to function under the B.J.B (Jr) college since 2001 It aims at develop introspective view on social system that is understand society with scientific approach. We want to bring academic excellency among students and to prepare them for higher education in this discipline by strengthening on Indian society

Course : Course has been offered as CHSE pattern. It consists of two papers, one is on fundamental of society and other one is on Indian society.

Facility : Department relies on Junior College Library to enrich it's store of knowledge.Student information- this department comprises of +2 1 st year and +2nd batch. Each batch having 64 students with 128 students in total.
